AO 1024 possesses the double structures of hindered phenol and acyl,and afunction of anti‐oxidation and metal deactivation. This product is a kind of metal deactivator, can be used either independently or together with antioxidant. It is applicable to polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polyamide, polyester, and especially to the antioxidant used in phenolic resin. It is effectively preventing the polymeric substance from self‐oxidation caused by transition metal ion (the remains of the catalyst). More efficient if it is added to the polymeric substance used in insulated electric wire and cable .The perfect melting nature makes it easily to mix withand into the substance mentioned above and other polymeric substance system without any dispersing problem. The general dosage is of 0.1‐0.5 share.
