- Directions
Rid Lime is used as is. Do not dilute with water. The system should be purged and drained as completely as possible. Fill the system with Rid Lime and circulate throughout. The fluid mechanics of the liquid circulating along with the chemical action of the product allows for a quick and safe removal of interior deposits. Rid Lime activity can be checked by installing a head pressure gage or monitoring a gage already in place. As the pressure in the system drops, the scale and deposit lining the unit is beginning to be removed and neutralized. A simple check of activity can be done by placing a few drops of used Rid Lime on an unsealed concrete surface. Slight bubbling activity indicates a portion of active solution is still available for use.
