Product Highlights: TRAPYLEN®113 S is a chemically modified low chlorinated polypropylene with outstanding affinity to polyolefinic plastics such as PP, PP/EPDM-blends and, with limitations to adhesion strength, to PE.

Compared to other modified chlorinated types it has a higher molecular weight and a narrow molecular weight distribution. Due to reduced content of maleic anhydride this product has good compatibility properties with other binder resins.

Main Uses: TRAPYLEN®113 S is used either as a straight primer or as an adhesion promoter for base coats and pigmented primers.

TRAPYLEN®113 S principal use is in paintings/coatings for molded parts and sealing profiles in the automotive industry, such as bumpers, side panels and door seals.

TRAPYLEN®113 S can also be used in adhesives and flocking agents for door seals.

TRAPYLEN®113 S is used in industrial applications where PP based plastics are chemically pretreated.
