Trapylen® 691 is a specially developed low chlorinated polypropylene. It has outstanding affinity to polyolefinic plastics such as polypropylene, PP-modified EPDM thermoplastic rubbers and to polyethylene. TRAPYLEN® 691 was mainly developed for PE-coatings. It can be used directly as binder or after effective dilution, as primer. The cured film is fairly soft.

For increased demands concerning adhesion and resistance of the coat (heat and chemicals) it is advisable to crosslink TRAPYLEN® 8000 with polyisocyanates based on HDI oder TDI in a dosage of 2%. The surface tension of the foils should have abt. 50...52 mN/m.

Trapur® 115 is a clear amber liquid with a characteristic odor that is soluble in water. It is composed of quaternized fatty amine ethoxylate and is classified as a quaternary ammonium cationic surfactant. Lanquat CAE-D is used as an antistatic agent and textile auxiliary component. It is compatible with the majority of other cationics and nonionic materials but is not compatible with anionic surfactants.
