Barley Flour is derived from the cereal straw, which is grown for food and animal feed. This product appears as a white powder with a hazelnut flavor. It can be used by mixing it with wheat flour in the production of specialty breads, and in biscuits. Barley is a cereal straw, low protein, grown for food and feed. Malt barley is widely used in breweries. The barley flour contains no or very little gluten. In gray or slightly yellow appearance, it is rich in fiber, iron, vitamin B6 and zinc source.
