Tallicin® 3405 is a high-performance wetting and dispersing agent for both organic and inorganic pigments, providing good wetting characteristics and very stable dispersions. Tallicin® 3405 is extremely effective in dispersing high oil-absorbing pigments, including acidic carbon black, and difficult to disperse pigments such as carbazole violet. Tallicin® 3405 is also effective in dispersing molybdenum for high pressure gear lubricants and is heat stable.
Tallicin® 3405 acts as an effective wetting agent in combination with pigment-affnic polymeric dispersants such as Tallicin® 1555 and Tallicin® 1510. The product is an excellent viscosity reducer/stabilizer for pigment dispersions in plasticizers such as DINP.

Technical Details & Test Data
- Compatibility
Tallicin® 3405 is a complex solution of a salt of an unsaturated polyamine amide and lower molecular weight, acid-functional polymers. Tallicin® 3405 is suitable for all systems containing petroleum solvents, petroleum oils, and oxygenated solvents. Vehicle types in which Tallicin® 3405 is effective include the following: alkyds, acrylics, drying oils, saturated polyesters, epoxy esters, two-component epoxies, oil-modified urethanes, vinyls and amino resins. The product is compatible with various plasticizers used in vinyl plastisols and similar systems.
