- Recommended Applications
Tallicin® 4000 is particularly effective in high solids polyurethanes and often dramatically drives bubbles from the film prior to curing. Tallicin® 4000 also contributes to flow and leveling and is used to eliminate cratering. Based on customer tests in normal use situations, including automotive applications, Tallicin® 4000 is found not to affect intercoat adhesion.
- Recommended Use Levels
Normal level of addition for Tallicin® 4000 is 2.0% to 4.0% based on the weight of the polyol component. A smaller quantity may suffice for relatively low solids systems whereas in low VOC finishes a greater quantity of Tallicin® 4000 will be required. Use the higher level of addition for thicker film applications as well.
