Tallicin® P-1400 can be used in systems applied by brush, roller, spray, dip, roller coater, flow coater and curtain coater. Tallicin® P-1400 helps eliminate flooding and floating problems when added to the grind portion of the formulation. Tallicin® P-1400 can also be added as a post-add to correct problems of flooding and floating by mixing it thoroughly with the paint or vehicle and adding the resulting paste to the batch with mixing. All coatings containing pigments that tend to separate, such as iron blues, chrome greens, black, organic reds, phthalo blues and greens, can benefit from P-1400.

For effective anti-flooding and anti-floating, evaluate Tallicin® P-1400 in the range of 0.2% to 0.6% based on total formulation weight, added to the grind portion

Tallicin® P-1400 helps prevent flooding, floating and silking in a wide variety of solvent-based industrial coatings and trade paints. Tallicin® P-1400 is effective in air-drying alkyds, baking alkyds, polyesters, oil modified urethanes, nitrocellulose, vinyls and other resin systems.
