Teraflow® 5330 can be used in a variety of solvent-based coatings, and it is particularly effective in nitrocellulose and acid-cured coatings. Teraflow® 5330 minimizes cratering and orange peel, resulting in a smooth film surface. The product also helps in the orientation of flattening agents.
- Recommended Use Levels
Teraflow® 5330 is added to the finished paint before the let-down stage at a level of 0.1% to 0.4% based on total formulation weight.

Teraflow® 5330 is designed for use in solvent-based coatings, particularly nitrocellulose and acidcured systems, to increase mar resistance, slip, flow and leveling. As with any dimethyl polysiloxane, determine the effect of Teraflow® 5330 on intercoat adhesion and recoatability before commercial use.
