WACKER® CROSSLINKER V 58 is used in thermal curing of addition-crosslinking solvent-based and solvent-free DEHESIVE® systems.
Processing
Batches of coating compound must be prepared in the order given below.
- First pour in CRA® Modifier in case CRA® is used.
- Add DEHESIVE® polymer in several portions and stir slowly until the mixture is homogeneous.
- Thoroughly stir in WACKER® CROSSLINKER V 58 to this mixture.
- Slowly stir in catalyst. Local over-concentrations needs to be avoided. Any contact to alkaline systems needs to be avoided.

- Safety Notes
Siloxane Crosslinkers should never get into direct contact with concentrated Platinum Catalysts or Alkaline Systems, since this may cause a spontaneous, uncontrolled emission of hydrogen. The formation of hydrogen might lead together with air to the explosive mixtures.
