Cel-Span® FR 611 flame retardant additives work in the gas phase that is initiated by a burning flame. We recommend that the barrel temperatures be set at 360° to 380° at the nozzle for optimum processing and a mold temperature of 100°F - 120°F. Cel-Span® FR 611 is packaged in 55 lb. plastic bags and 1,200 lb. gaylord boxes. We recommend this product be kept closed in its original container, stored in a dry place, away from light, heat, and highly humid environments. No adverse health effects from Cel-Span® FR 611 are known. All additives are found in the Code of Federal Regulations and have Gras status.
