Cel-Span® Purge 388FG is a transition purge that contains long and short strand fiber glass in addition to several proprietary additives that are essential in the cleansing cycle of high temperatures and lower melting polyolefins. Temperatures above 500°F may cause material to smoke. Cel-Span® Purge 388FG can be used directly without any mixing necessary to clean most plastics equipment during color and resin changes. The unique additives and resin system in Cel-Span® Purge 388FG make it possible to cleanse color resins in less time, in most resin applications.

Cel Span® Purge 388FG can be used directly without any mixing necessary to clean most plastics equipment during color, and resin changes. No adverse health effects from the use of Cel Span® Purge 388FG are known. The additives in the formulation are GRAS- approved. CelSpan® Purge 388FG is packaged in 55 lb. plastic bags or 1,100 lb. gaylord boxes. We recommend this product be kept closed and stored in the original container, away from light, heat and high humidity environments.
