Salix Alba Bark Extract is extracted from dried bark of willow. Its main active components are salicin and glucan. Salicin has aspirin-like property; it is an effective anti-inflammatory ingredient traditionally used to heal wounds and relieve muscle pain. Glucan has the body’s immunity. It activates cell viability, and achieves anti-inflammatory and anti-wrinkle effects. The study found that salicin is an inhibitor of oxidase (NADH oxidase), which has anti-wrinkle, increases skin gloss and elasticity. Also it reduces pigmentation, and increases skin moisture. Paeoniflorin 70% is a derivative of monoterpene, mainly derived from dried root of plant white peony (accounting for 3% of white peony). It is a main effective ingredient of total glucosides of paeonia (TPG). Plamed develops two specifications: 70% Paeoniflorin and 98% Paeoniflorin. Both of them are natural cosmetic raw materials. Paeoniflorin inhibits melanin production due to its anti-oxidation and anti-inflammatory activities. It reduces skin pigmentation; and it has a non-dose-dependent whitening effect. In addition, Paeoniflorin can prevent and improve intrinsic skin aging and UV-induced skin aging. It has an anti-wrinkle effect.

Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (MAP), also known as Magnesium L-Ascorbyl-2 Phosphate, is one of vitamin C derivatives. It is synthesized by esterification of vitamin C. MAP not only has the same biological activities as vitamin C, but is more stable than vitamin C. Plamed Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate is cosmetic grade raw material with purity up to 98%. It is white to light yellow powder. Due to its lipophilicity, MAP is easily absorbed by skin. It is a water-soluble whitening agent. It is soluble in water and dilute acid, and is insoluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, chloroform or ether.
