- Benefits
- Whitening skin - Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate enters human body and rapidly decomposes into vitamin C by phosphatase. Thereby it exerts the unique function of VC. Thus MAP effectively inhibits tyrosinase; and it can block oxidation process from dopa to melanin. Accordingly, MAP has whitening and removing freckle effect. It can treat skin chloasma, pigmentation, aestates, etc.
- Anti-oxidation - There are two mechanisms for scavenging superoxide anion free radicals by Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate: one is the absorption and utilization of superoxide anion free radicals in human body; and the other is to inhibit production of superoxide anion free radicals in the body. Therefore, MAP has anti-oxidation effect. It can promote dermal collagen formation. It owns anti-wrinkle and anti-aging effect.
- Features
As a whitening ingredient of cosmetic, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate has following features:
- MAP has property of alkali and high temperature resistance. It is not easily oxidized and is stable in light, heat and air. The degree of oxidation in boiling water is only 1/10 of VC.
- MAP inhibits tyrosinase activity, reduces melanin and exerts whitening effect.
- MAP can eliminate oxygen free radicals after entering human body, so as to remove wrinkle, and function as anti-ager.
- Stable, not easy to change color.
- Non-toxic, no irritation.
