Ply-Guard UR (Fast Set) adheres extremely well to properly prepared metal, wood, fiber glass, and various other metals surfaces. For optimal direct-to-steel application, Ply-Guard UR (Fast Set) requires a minimum SSPC-SP10 near white metal blast cleaning with a 3 ml angular profile. Ply-Guard UR (Fast Set) should be applied through a two-component, high-pressure proportioning unit. Material and hoses should be heated to 150°F, and a minimal pressure of 2,200 psi. Consult a Polyset Technical Representative regarding specific metal/steel surface preparation and priming requirements.
