Ply-Guard

Ply-Guard AS (Ultra Flex) is a new-generation, high-gloss, fast curing, two-component aliphatic polyaspartic polyurea topcoat that provides superior flexibility in addition to superior color and gloss retention.

Ply-Guard AS is a fast-curing, two-component polyaspartic (aliphatic polyurea) coating system. Ply-Guard AS exhibits superior color and gloss retention, excellent abrasion resistance, good flexibility, and can be applied directly to properly prepared concrete or metal surfaces. In addition, Ply-Guard AS has very good corrosion, chemical, and UV resistance, and can achieve a uniform coating thickness of 2-8 mils DFT per coat that is free of bubbles and pinholes.

Ply-Guard FCE 224 is a fast-curing, high-solids, high-build Epoxy that can be applied to properly prepared steel and concrete surfaces. Ply-Guard FCE 224 is an ideal product for maintenance/repair applications where quick turnaround and return to service is required. Ply-Guard FCE 224 is also well-suited to new product applications where its fast curing properties can lead to increased throughput and production efficiencies.

Ply-Guard ME is a two-component, chemical resistant Mastic Epoxy coating system designed to perform exceptionally well in a broad range of severe environments, including in the presence of strong acids/alkalis and organic solvents. It can be used as a primer and should be used wherever chemical and abrasion resistance and outstanding adhesion are essential. Ply-Guard ME is designed for use on properly prepared concrete and metal surfaces in refineries, offshore platforms, chemical plants, food and beverage plants, and pulp and paper mills.

Ply-Guard MEA is a high solids, high build Mastic Epoxy Aluminum formulation that cures to a tough, flexible, abrasion resistant film. Ply-Guard MEA is self-priming and has excellent adhesion to rusted steel that has had proper power tool cleaning. It is easy to apply by spray, roller or brush. Ply-Guard MEA has high build characteristics allowing 18 mil WFT or more while providing high sag and run resistance. Ply-Guard MEA is an ideal product for improving and upgrading old and deteriorating coating systems.

Ply-Guard NS is a two-component, chemical resistant, non-skid epoxy coating system designed to perform exceptionally well in a broad range of severe environments, including in the presence of strong acids/alkalis and organic solvents. It should be used wherever non-skid properties, chemical and abrasion resistance, corrosive environment resistance & outstanding adhesion are essential. Ply-Guard NS is designed for use on properly prepared concrete and metal surfaces in refineries, offshore platforms, chemical plants, food & beverage plants, and pulp and paper mills.

Ply-Guard PSC8 is a newly engineered two-component Polysiloxane coating technology offering the combination of technologically advanced siloxane resins and special ultraviolet inhibitors resulting in an industrial finish coat providing exceptional long term durability. Ply-Guard PSC8 provides extremely long-term performance and a wide range of uses such as exterior coatings for bridges, marine vessels, offshore structures, railcars, tanks, pulp and paper mills, chemical plants, refineries, and other steel structures exposed to the most corrosive environments.

Ply-Guard UR (Fast Set) is a fast set, fast gel time spray-applied, two-component Polyurea coating that is 100% solids and contains 0 VOCs.

Ply-Guard UR is a two-component, rapid curing, spray-applied Polyurea Coating/Lining System that is 100% solids and 0 VOC. Ply-Guard UR can either be applied directly to the substrate or with the aid of a primer.

Ply-Guard WBAC is a water reducible acrylic finish coating that offers extended exterior durability when used in moderately harsh environments. It provides excellent gloss and color retention. Ply-Guard WBAC is highly resistant to dirt pick-up and has chemical resistance superior to conventional coatings. It is approved by many state D.O.T.’S for use on bridges.

Ply-Guard EP is a two component, low viscosity, 100% solids epoxy resin system used in a variety of flooring applications including high build coatings, aggregate-filled flooring and decorative epoxy pebble applications. This material cures blush-free and provides an outstanding balance of physical strength, flexibility and chemical resistance. Ply-Guard EP has excellent clarity for use over color quartz aggregate and decorative architectural concrete. The pigmented material features high pigment loading for good substrate hide and color consistency when roller applied.

Ply-Guard TC is a two component, high solids aliphatic polyurethane. This product offers a remarkable combination of performance properties not found in other polymer coatings. Ply-Guard TC produces protective films which are hard, flexible and very impact resistant. These coatings feature high abrasion and scratch resistance, exterior durability, easy soil release, and excellent resistance to a broad range of chemicals. For exterior applications, a UV stabilizer package is incorporated to insure long term chalk resistance and gloss retention. A special accelerator is available when rapid project turnaround is required.
