Lemon Essential Oil, Citrus limonium, is cold pressed from the peels of the fruit. It possesses a fresh, uplifting, lemony aroma. It is a pleasant and functional addition to cleaning formulations and air fresheners. Lemon Essential Oil helps to clean and cut grease while imparting a pleasant citrus aroma. Within hair and skin care applications, the astringency of Lemon Essential Oil makes it useful for combating oily skin and hair. Within holistic aromatherapy, the bright, citrus scent is stimulating, but it also is said to aid in focus and concentration. Lemon Essential Oil is often used by spas and incorporated into body massage oils, body wraps and salt soaks. Our Lemon Essential Oil is naturally comprised of 65% limonene, a monoterpene that is highly praised for its many beneficial properties and that contributes to the fresh, bright uplifting aroma of the oil. Aromatically, Lemon Essential Oil is very versatile and blends well with other citrus essential oils and oils in the mint, floral, wood, herbaceous and spice families. Citrus oils may become cloudy when subjected to cold temperatures due to the natural citrus wax present in the oil. Cold pressed Lemon Essential Oil is phototoxic. For leave-on topical formulations, IFRA and Essential Oil Safety Edition 2 by Robert Tisserand and Rodney Young recommend a dermal maximum of 2%. If exceeding this guideline in topical applications, it is recommended that you avoid sun or UV exposure for at least 12 hours.
Praan Naturals Cinnamon Bark Burmannii Total CO2 Extract banner
Praan Naturals company logo
Praan Naturals Cinnamon Bark Burmannii Total CO2 Extract
  • INCI Name:Cinnamomum Burmannii (Cinnamon) Bark Extract
  • Functions:Fragrance
  • Fragrance:Cinnamon
  • Ingredient Origin:Natural Origin, Plant Origin, Non-Animal Origin
  • Labeling Claims:Non-GMO, Organic, Plant-Based
  • Certifications & Compliance:Organic Certified, USDA Certified
Praan Naturals Cinnamon Bark Burmannii Total CO2 Extract is produced in Germany using the bark harvested from Indonesian Cinnamomum burmannii. It contains both the volatile and non-volatile CO2 soluble components of this wonderfully aromatic bark. CO2 Totals are CO2 Supercritical Extracts that have been extracted at higher pressure than those classified as CO2 Selects. CO2 Totals are the closest representation of the natural plant ever achieved. Aromatically, Praan Naturals Cinnamon Bark Burmannii Total CO2 Extract possesses a beautiful, spicy aroma that is characteristic to cinnamon but is sweeter. It conveys a fresher, sweeter aroma than most steam distilled cinnamon bark essential oils. Its desirable aroma and lower cost as compared to CO2 extracts produced from Cinnamomum zeylanicum make it a beautiful alternative. Cinnamon Bark Burmannii Total CO2 Extract blends well with oils in the citrus, floral, spice, woods and resin categories, and it blends especially well with clove, ylang ylang, rose, frankincense, geranium and patchouli. The aroma of cinnamon is a favorite aroma of all genders and ages. The aroma is quite concentrated, and a little goes a long way. It can bring a lovely warmth and complexity to otherwise ordinary blends. It wonderful for use in home fragrancing, diffusion and potpourri blends. Cinnamon Bark Burmannii Total CO2 Extract is often used within a number of personal care and wellness applications, and we encourage you to research the numerous benefits of this helpful extract. It does pose a higher risk of skin sensitization and we encourage researching Tisserand/Young's dermal limit (see below) for topical applications. For holistic aromatherapy applications, Cinnamon Bark Burmannii Total CO2 Extract is especially energizing and uplifting. Although spice oils are warming and are most commonly used during the Autumn and Winter seasons, the oil is lovely to use at any time of year. As a warming oil, it is a wonderful addition to massage oil blends. However, it is highly sensitizing and great care must be used when using it topically. Cinnamon Bark Burmannii Total CO2 Extract is a slightly thick, golden brown extract. In addition to its essential oil content, it contains the heavier waxes, fatty acids, resins, color compounds and other non-volatile compounds. For topical formulations intended for adults, Essential Oil Safety Edition 2 by Robert Tisserand and Rodney Young recommend a dermal maximum of 0.07% for Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil. The extract may be phototoxic due to its coumarin content. We suggest using a lower ratio when incorporating Cinnamon Bark Burmannii Total CO2 Extract in topical applications.

Blackcurrants are originally native to the United Kingdom and regions of Europe and Asia. The berries grow on shrubs that reach a height up to 6 feet tall. Blackcurrants are traditionally used as a natural flavoring and as a key ingredient in jams, deserts, syrups and liqueurs. Blackcurrants are beginning to gain widespread attention as they are rich in phytochemicals that naturally inhibit microbial growth. As the media continues to focus its attention on the risks of parabens, formaldehyde releasers, and other synthesized preservatives, product formulators and manufacturers are facing the growing challenge of procuring natural alternatives that provide suitable broad-spectrum protection. Praan Naturals is pleased to offer manufacturers and formulators a range of premium quality natural preservatives, including Blackcurrant Powdered Extract. Blackcurrant Powdered Extract helps to resist microbial contamination and control microbial growth while simultaneously offering nutritive skin conditioning benefits. The method of production, the specific components of the formulation, the environment in which the batch is formulated and the method of packaging all play a crucial role in the resulting shelf life of a batch. Therefore, we cannot guarantee your results when incorporating natural preservatives into your formulations. Only lab challenge testing can determine how and if a preservative is achieving the desired results. Storage Information: Storage Information: Store in a cool, dry location. The ideal storage temperature range is 73-78 degrees Fahrenheit (23-25 degrees Celsius). Do not freeze. Catnip Essential Oil also offers numerous benefits when used within skin and personal care applications. Catnip Essential Oil is abundant in the lactone know as nepetalactone. Nepetalactone is the constituent responsible for making catnip so appealing to cats. Mosquitos and some other insects absolutely hate nepetalactone and tend to avoid Catnip Essential Oil and products that contain sufficient quantities of it. Catnip Essential Oil is an excellent choice for use within skin and hair care, holistic wellbeing, massage, soap making, fragrancing and cleaning applications intended to support general wellness, digestive and respiratory health and a healthy environment. Aromatically, Catnip Essential Oil is considered a middle note, and it possesses an herbaceous, woody aroma. Alone, it's aroma is not particularly pleasant, but it is an aromatically versatile oil that blends wonderfully with essential oils that are in the wood, mint, resin, herbaceous, spice and citrus families. Praan Naturals Caprylic Capric Triglycerides (MCT Oil)
  • INCI Name:Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride
  • Ingredient Origin:Non-Animal Origin, Plant Origin, Natural Origin
  • Labeling Claims:Ulta Beauty's Conscious Beauty, Non-GMO, Palm free, Plant-Based, Organic, Credo Clean Standard, Palm Oil-free, Clean at Sephora
  • Certifications & Compliance:USDA Certified, Organic Certified
Our Caprylic Capric Triglycerides (MCT Oil) is palm-free. MCT Oil, also known as Caprylic Capric Triglycerides, is gaining widespread attention within the beauty, cosmetic and personal care industries due to its impressive silky, oil-free texture and oxidative stability. Despite the word oil in its name, MCT Oil is actually an ester, not a true oil. It primarily contains Caprylic Acid and Capric Acid, medium chain triglycerides that are fluid at room temperature. Not all commercially available MCT Oils are produced solely from coconuts. Some MCT products may be produced using unsustainable rapeseed and/or palm oils. To produce Praan Naturals MCT Oil, a process called esterification is used. Coconut oil is first hydrolyzed to yield the medium chain fatty acids and glycerol. The glycerol is reserved, and the fatty acids undergo distillation to separate them into fractions of different chain lengths. The C8 Caprylic Acid and C10 Capric Acid fractions are then re-esterified with glycerol to form MCT Oil. The oil is then filtered and deodorized. Unlike pure Virgin Coconut Oil that has a characteristic coconut aroma and that is solid and opaque at room temperature, MCT Oil is a clear, colorless and virtually odorless fluid that pours easily at room temperature. Our MCT Oil and Fractionated Coconut Oil primarily consist of Caprylic and Caparic Triglycerides. However, they are produced using different methods, and both feature important differences in properties, benefits and applications. Please refer to the Comparison Chart shown on the next page and the separate product literature available for our Fractionated Coconut Oil.

Praan Naturals Clove Bud Select CO2 Extract
  • INCI Name:Syzygium Aromaticum (Clove) Bud Extract
  • Functions:Fragrance
  • Fragrance:Clove
  • Ingredient Origin:Natural Origin, Plant Origin, Non-Animal Origin
  • Labeling Claims:Non-GMO, Organic, Plant-Based
  • Certifications & Compliance:Organic Certified, USDA Certified
Praan Naturals Clove Bud Select CO2 Extract is produced from the flower buds of Syzygium aromaticum, a flowering tree that offers numerous benefits for wellness applications. Aromatically, it possesses a spicy-sweet clove aroma that is a bit warmer, sweeter and more well rounded than its essential oil counterpart. Clove Bud Select CO2 Extract offers numerous applications within beauty, cosmetic, aromatherapy, and soapmaking applications. It is a warming extract that can help reduce mental fatigue, improve clarity and mood, help maintain alertness and support healthy digestion. We encourage you to research the numerous benefits of this helpful extract. This delightfully spicy CO2 extract is comprised of approximately 90% essential oil including approximately 45-75% eugenol, 5-25% eugenyl acetate, 10-20% beta caryophyllene and up to 5% humulene. It is light-medium yellow in color and is fluid at room temperature. It possesses a longer shelf life than does Clove Bud Essential Oil because the production of the essential oil exposes the oil to a great deal of heat during production. The CO2 extraction process uses virtually no heat and thus allows for a longer shelf life. Clove Bud Select CO2 Extract is wonderful to use year-round, but it is especially lovely for seasonal use during the Autumn and Winter seasons. In addition to its wellness applications, it is wonderful for use in home fragrancing, diffusion and potpourri blends. It is also said to be an aphrodisiac. Clove Bud Select CO2 Extract blends especially well with other CO2 extracts and essential oils in the wood, spice, citrus, floral and herbaceous families. It can be helpful in helping to improve the aroma of blends and formulations that have a "medicinal" or unpleasant scent to them. For topical formulations intended for adults, Essential Oil Safety Edition 2 by Robert Tisserand and Rodney Young recommend a dermal maximum of 0.5% for Clove Bud Essential Oil. We believe the same dermal limit holds true for Clove Bud Select CO2 Extract.
