PTM&W Industries, Inc ES6220 is a fast setting, liquid epoxy adhesive with good adhesion to a variety of surfaces. ES6220 has a mix ratio of 1 to 1 by weight or volume for easy measuring. It has a working time of 4 to 6 minutes at 77°F, and cures very rapidly. The resin and hardener are of a similar consistency, so they can be combined easily. This is important with the short working time of this system.

PTM&W Industries, Inc ES6228 is a thin paste viscosity epoxy adhesive designed to provide good bonds to metal surfaces. A unique feature of ES6228 is its ability to bond to slightly oily metal surfaces. This is useful in situations where the complete removal of residual mill oil on metal surfaces is not possible. The thin paste consistency of ES6228 wets the metal surface well for good adhesion. This viscosity also provides some gap filling capabilities, so “close fitting” joints are adequate, and matched-metal joints are not required. ES6228 has a 1 to 1 mix ratio by weight or volume, for easy measuring. The white resin and black hardener combine to a smooth gray system that is easy to mix and apply. The cured material has very good properties, with high bond strength and elongation, for tough, durable assemblies. The Part B1 hardener was developed to provide a faster gel than the standard ES6228 Part B hardener. This combination has a gel time of 25 minutes, and provides cured properties equal to the standard hardener.

PTM&W Industries, Inc ES6272 is a light grayish-tan two part epoxy adhesive that was developed specifically for difficult bonding problems involving similar or dissimilar materials. There are two pigmented versions of ES6279 available: ES6271 is black and ES6272 A is white. The three products are identical, except for color. These adhesives provide excellent adhesion to a wide variety of materials such as aluminum, steel, brass, concrete, brick, glass, stone, ceramics, tile and wood. These adhesives have very good handling characteristics. The mix ratio of 1 to 1 by weight or volume allows easy measuring. They have a creamy, smooth viscosity; are very easy to mix; and have good thixotropy for application to contoured or vertical surfaces without sag or runoff. These adhesives cure relatively quickly, developing sufficient “green strength” to allow bonded items to be removed from the holding fixtures and handled within a few hours. The cured material has excellent strength, as well as, good resistance to weak acids, moisture and weather.

PTM&W Industries, Inc ES6292 is a two component epoxy adhesive intended for use in bonding composite parts and structural assemblies. ES6292 is a very tough adhesive that works well in applications where severe stresses and vibration are involved. It is not brittle when cured, and has very good resistance to peel forces. The mixed material has very good thixotropy, and fills gaps in uneven bond lines without sagging or run out during cure. ES6292 performs well at both high and low temperatures, so it is useful for applications where the bonded structure is exposed to environmental extremes.

PTM&W Industries, Inc ES6265 is a smooth, slightly thixotropic, cream colored paste epoxy adhesive and patching compound designed for general bonding and repair where the bond line will be exposed to elevated temperature in service. ES6265 has very good heat resistance, so it is a good candidate for such uses. ES6265 consists of an off-white resin and a tan hardener that combine readily form a smooth-consistency, slightly thixotrpoic paste adhesive which bonds well to a variety of metal and non-metallic surfaces. For example, it has been used extensively for the potting of drill bushings into both metal and composite tools and fixtures, where it holds up very well to the heat generated in that application.

PTM&W Industries, Inc OC3700 is a two-part, room temperature curing epoxy optical cement. OC3700 is recommended for glass to glass bonding, where its law mixed viscosity and room temperature cure allow as much as an hour for close positioning. In addition, its index of refraction and unusually low coefficient of thermal expansion make it especially suited to glass bonding.

PTM&W Industries, Inc TR-150-25 is a modified reactive polyimide solution designed to provide outstanding high temperature service in a variety of demanding applications. Stable and dependable performance in service environments of 500OF is routinely expected of TR-150-25, and it can withstand brief or intermittent exposure to 850OF without significant damage or severe loss of properties. TR-150-25 provides a higher flexural strength than most polyimides, as well as having good adhesion to a variety of substrate. Its high flexural strength yields superior toughness and durability to laminates and bonded structures fabricated with it. When properly cured, TR-150-25 is virtually unaffected by most solvents and chemicals, with the exception of strong caustic solutions which may pit the surface and eventually degrade the polymer.

PTM&W Industries, Inc ES6259 is a versatile epoxy adhesive that provides very good bond strengths to many substrates under a variety of exposure conditions. ES6259 cures to a tough, slightly resilient product, which makes it ideal for bonding dissimilar materials. ES6259 is also an excellent candidate for applications that are exposed to high humidity and water immersion, due to its resistance to brine and fresh water alike.
