Smooth-Cast™ ONYX™ SLOW is a mercury-free urethane resin that cures at room temperature to a deep black, solid plastic. ONYX™ resins offer the convenience of a 1A:1B by volume mix ratio and have very low viscosities, so they are easy to mix and pour. ONYX™ resins have an ultimate Shore hardness of 80D and offer higher physical properties and higher heat resistance vs. other general purpose resins. ONYX™ resins are available in 2 speeds. ONYX™ FAST resin has a pot life of 2.5 minutes and a cure time of 10-15 minutes, while ONYX™ SLOW has a pot life of 5 minutes and a cure time of 90 minutes.

Smooth-Cast™ 310 is ultra-low viscosity casting resins that yield castings that are bright white and virtually bubble free. Vacuum degassing is not necessary. They offer the convenience of a 1A:1B by volume or 100A:90B by weight mix ratio. The differences between them are pot life and demold time.

The ColorMatch™ Series offers the convenience of a 1A: 1B mix ratio by volume and has a very low viscosity. Demold times range from about 10 minutes to 2-4 hours (depending on product, mass and mold configuration). Smooth-Cast® 385 is a mineral filled urethane casting resin that is very hard and durable. When Parts A and B are mixed in proper proportion (1A:5B by weight), Smooth-Cast™ 385 cures at room temperature with virtually no shrinkage. This rigid urethane casting resin has high compressive and flexural strength. Fully cured castings are tough, machinable and paintable. Color effects are possible by adding pigment dispersions. They resist moisture and mild solvents. Smooth-Cast™ 385 is ideal for making industrial production parts, foundry patterns, vacuum forming molds, and some ceramic applications.

Smooth-Cast™ 380 is a filled, high density casting resin formulated for a variety of tooling applications. This no-odor resin features a convenient 1A:1B mix ratio by volume, a 6 minute pot-life and cure time of about 60 minutes depending on mass and temperature. Low viscosity ensures minimal bubble entrapment and long term shrinkage of cured resin is very low. Cured material is very strong can be machined, drilled, sanded, etc. Color can be added with SO-Strong™ color tints.
