Strong, aromatic, spicy - Nordic by nature. Only our old Swede tastes like this. After all, the naturally matured cheese specialty is a variety for real connoisseurs and real connoisseurs. A variety that is only available from Rücker. We make Alter Schwede according to an original family recipe that we have re-released. The name of our naturally matured cheese classic was an idea of our employees, it is reminiscent of the Swedish rule in Mecklenburg in the 17th century. Naturally matured Old Swede is a good choice all year round. In winter, mainly as raclette and fondue cheese. Highly recommended in summer in omelets, to gratinate casseroles or in salads. And always the way we like cheese best in the north: on a slice of strong black bread with fine, fresh Frisian branded butter.
