- Product Highlights
In India, Emblica officinalis, commonly known as Indian Gooseberry or Amla, is valued as a 'super fruit'-owing to its broad-spectrum antioxidant property that supports multiple health benefits. It is a primary ingredient in several traditional medicinal preparations, including Ayurveda. Saberry® is Sabinsa's patented proprietary extract obtained from the fruits of Emblica officinalis. It is standardized for a minimum of 10% β-glucogallin and is GRAS-affirmed. Saberry® has been extensively studied for various benefits and found to have a multi-faceted potential, thus confirming Ayurveda's recognition of Amla as a 'Rasayana' or 'Adaptogen.'

In-house studies revealed that Saberry® possesses a strong melanin synthesis inhibitory potential compared to ascorbic acid and also did not cause cell death in human dermal papilla cells when exposed to UV rays. It is also an effective anti-aging agent as studies have suggested that it provides protection against skin wrinkling and loss of skin elasticity.* Amla is nutritionally used in stomach disorders like ulcer, and indigestion.*
