Sasol HYBLENE 113

HYBLENE is the trade name of a high quality linear alkylbenzene (LAB) produced by Sasol Italy in its plant in Augusta (SR) using UOP technology (DETAL). The process is based on benzene alkylation with n-olefins using a noncorrosive solid catalyst in a fixed-bed reactor. HYBLENE 113 is a particular LAB with a linear alkyl chain ranging from C10 to C13 and an average molecular mass of 240.   • It is suggested to store the product in stainless steel tank containers at temperature lower than 40°C to avoid yellowish phenomena.
  • Due to its low pour point (-55°C) HYBLENE 113 does not need any heated tank.
