"Founded by C. Fred Sauereisen in 1899, Fred was a mostly self-taught ceramist who worked with George Westinghouse on the first porcelain insulator. Fred's interest in ceramics launched the Sauereisen Cement Company and by applying his knowledge, he developed a signature product – Insa-Lute Adhesive Cement No. 1 that served as the core of an entire product line.

This was only the beginning of what rapidly grew to be an internationally known manufacturer and distributor of engineered products.

SAUEREISEN SparkPrime 562 is a single-component, moist-cured urethane primer to be used in conjunction with several Sauereisen coating and lining systems. The function of No. 562 is to promote a tenacious bond of Sauereisen epoxy, vinyl ester and urethane topcoats to concrete and steel substrates.

SAUEREISEN Self-Leveling Expoxy NovolaK 228SL is a self-leveling coating system for flooring applications. This product offers excellent application properties and is an ideal chemical-resistant flooring material for areas where traffic is not extreme. Where skid resistance is required, various sized aggregates may be incorporated as a broadcast system.

ConoGlaze™ Chemical &amp; Food 202 is a chemically-resistant, 100% solids, epoxy coating system. It is used as a topcoat for Sauereisen ConoCrete or FibreCrete systems or as a coating to protect concrete and steel from chemical attack.

SAUEREISEN Self-Leveling Epoxy 201SL is a long-wearing, chemically resistant flooring system with proven performance. It is resin-based and designed to exhibit low permeability and applied by pour-and-spread, trowel, roller or spray. It is ideally suited for process areas, aisles, containment dikes and other areas subject to forklift traffic and spillage of corrosives.

Sauereisen ConoThane Glaze 310 provides outstanding gloss and color retention along with excellent resistance to abrasion and chemicals, including solvents. This product matches the performance of baked finishes and may be used on properly prepared and primed substrates of nearly any composition. ConoThane Glaze No. 310 white and clear are U.S.D.A. approved. The product is suitable for both interior and exterior environments.

ConoGlaze Epoxy NovolaK 228 is a chemically-resistant, 100% solids, epoxy novolak coating system. It is used as a topcoat for Sauereisen ConoCrete or FibreCrete systems or as a coating to protect concrete and steel from chemical attack.

ConoGlaze Abrasion Resistance 207 is a resin-based, impermeable corrosion barrier for use as stand-alone coatings or high-gloss sealants over other materials. Typical application thickness is 8 mils or more.

ConoCrete General Purpose 101 is a chemically-resistant, 100% solids, aggregate-filled, general purpose epoxy floor system. It is ideal for resurfacing old and protecting new concrete floors from chemical and physical abuse. The physical properties of this material far exceed those of concrete, providing a more durable surface with greater chemical resistance.

Novolak VEGlaze 472 is a coating used for the chemical-resistant construction of sumps, ducts, containment areas, trenches, walls, and other support columns or bases. VEGlaze may be used as a thin barrier of corrosion resistance or as a topcoat for other Sauereisen vinyl ester linings and polymer concretes. The VEGlaze system utilizes Sauereisen VEPrime No. 550 as a bond enhancing primer.
