Silvateam - Silvachimica Aglupectin

Aglutex® are food and beverages additives blends with high functionality. These blending solutions, from the most simple to the most sophisticated add a real benefit to end product formulations. Aglutex® blends can contain emulsifiers, natural hydrocolloids, and other special ingredients to provide food and beverages products a distinctive texture, good stability, improved mouthfeel, consistent taste, and safety for the consumer.

Silvafeed® product range is based on natural extracts, containing secondary compounds naturally present in most of the world’s plants. During the evolution, animals instinctively learned how to select and take benefits from these micro-nutrients. However, in recent times, these compounds were lost due to modern breeding systems. Silvateam has re-introduced these natural elements into the diets of animals by using a thoroughly extensive and selective process and understanding the correct administration procedures for each species.

Tan’Activ® meets market demands complying with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and the worldwide regulations. The Tan’Activ® range is divided into two main families, Traditional Tan’Activ® and Superior Tan’Activ®, according to the different production processes and the quality and type of raw material. Silvateam uses various extraction techniques in order to obtain different types of tannins characterized by different molecular structures, quality and flavor profiles which are suitable for several applications. Tan’Activ® products can be used as they are but it is recommended to dissolve them in warm water solution (40°C) at a maximum concentration of 30%. All tannins react with iron and other metals, it is therefore recommended to avoid contact with oxidizing materials and to use containers made of stainless steel, plastic, wood, glass, and ceramics.

Silvateam - Silvachimica Mastic is a pruning and grafting sealer based on tannin extracts of vegetal origin. It is characterized by a reddish-brown color. It is free of phytotoxic agents and does not hurt the external tissue of the plant.

Aglupectin LA-S10 is a amidated pectin (LMA) is a low methoxyl pectin obtained from high methoxyl pectin when ammonia is used in the alkaline de-esterification process. The degree of methoxylation (DM) and the degree of amidation (DA) determine the calcium reactivity of this pectin.

Aglupectin LC-S18 is a conventional pectin (LMC) is a low methoxyl pectin that contains less than 50% of the carboxylic acid units esterified and forms gels only with polyvalent ions (Ca++, Mg++). LMC pectin permits to produce brittle thermally irreversible gels.
