Waxidone® is the association of lauric and behenic ester (50/50) of the L-Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid (L-PCA). L-PCA is obtained by the cyclization of the L-glutamic acid, amino acid of vegetal origin. Lauryl alcohol and behenic alcohol used as starting materials are of vegetal origin.
