Solbar is a global leader in speciality plant proteins, going the extra mile to bring plant based protein’s natural treasures to the food and beverage, nutritional and dietary supplement markets. Solbar Ningbo Protein Technology Co., Ltd. was named Solbar Ningbo Food Co., Ltd. when established and was a fully owned foreign enterprise by Israeli Industrial Group registered at Ningbo Free Trade Zone in 2003, which put into operation in 2005. It developed to CHS Ningbo Protein Food, Ltd. in 2012 and currently changed into Solbar Ningbo Protein Technology Co., Ltd. since February 2016. Solbar Ningbo is located at No.12 Xingye Road, Free Trade Zone, Ningbo with registered capital RMB 143Million, and size of 17,000 square meters.There are employees over 140 people. Solbar is dedicated to deeply processing China non-GMO soybeans, peas etc. to improve the functionality and mouthfeel of plant protein and further meet the demands of human beings on health and nutrition. Solbar Industries Textured Soy Protein is made of low modified white flakes with about 50%-65%(dry basis) protein content. Textured soy protein consists of essential amino acids, whose nutritious value comparable to animal protein with low fat and free of cholesterol, while the price is lower than the animal protein, with a similar meat structure, widely using in a variety of food, such as meat products (meat filled sausage, meat canned, meatballs, pattie, etc.), replacing part of the lean meat to improve protein content, reduce costs, and enhance meat structure, such as convenient food, increasing protein content, to improve the nutritional value of convenience food. Soytex is our typical texured soy protein products. The main applications include ground meat sausage, tuna, corned beef and instant noodles.

Solbar Industries Textured Fibrous Vegetable Protein is processed via the imported twin-screw extruder while the result is a meat-like vegetarian product. Solbar Industries Defatted Soy Flour is a processed product made from finely ground defatted soy meal and contains less than 1% oil. It is the base ingredient in soy protein isolate, soy protein concentrates and textured soy protein, and contains 50% protein by weight. Solflo series products stand for typical defatted soy flour in Solbar. This versatile ingredient improves taste and texture of many common foods and often reduce fat absorbed in fried foods. The applications suggested are bakery, raw material for vegetable proteins, animal feed & pet food, beverages, nutritional bar etc.
