SPAK HCO 40 is a vegetable-derived, ethoxylated (40) nonionic surfactant. It is suitable for a wide variety of applications providing emulsifying and solubilizing functionality. Hydrogenation of the castor oil results in greater oxidative stability with superior color and reduced odor.

Cocomonoethanolamide is a well-known agent for foam boosting and stabilization and viscosity control used is shampoos, liquid soaps and similar cosmetic/ toiletry products and industrial cleaners. It stabilizes the foam in the presence of hard water and sebum. Due to its low amine value the formulated products rarely require subsequent pH adjustment after its addition. In acid shampoos cocomonethanolamide should be preferred over cocodiethanolamide as, being a secondary amide it is more resistant to hydrolysis.

IZA-90 is based on 1:1 molar reaction of selected coco chain fatty acid/ester with dietanolamine. It contains low concentration of unreacted diethanolamine and practically no fatty acid soap. It has a high percentage of amide and is predominantly nonionic in character. Thus due to its high amide content and purity it is classified as a “Superamide” as distinguished from the “Kritchevsky” type amine condensate.
