- RECOMMENDED USES
- To fill or repair control joints, random cracks, and shallow spalls on horizontal concrete surfaces.
- Earthen containment lining used with our without geotextile fabric.
- Roof systems (metal, concrete, wood, etc.).
- Protective elastomer for sprayed-in-place urethane foam.
- EPLTM 1.5 can be spray-applied with or without broadcase aggregate to provide a durable resilient flooring system.
- GENERAL APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Apply EPL™ 1.5 to only clean, dry, sound surfaces free of loose particles or other foreign matter.
A primer may be required; subject to type and condition of the substrate.
Read and observe all precautions, instructions, and limitations that are included with all containers of EPL™ 1.5.
EPL™ 1.5 is a “slow-set” (minutes) polyurea and may behave differently in the presence of moisture than “fast-set” (seconds) polyurea.
Undried air exposed to liquid components will reduce physical properties of the cured coating.

Gel ± 1 1/2 min. Tack Free ± 5 - 10 min Post Cure ** 24 hour Recoat 0 - 24 hours Elevated temperatures will speed up the curing process.
** Complete polymerization to achieve final strength can take upto several days or weeks, depending on a variety of conditions or product type. All samples for above tests were force cured 48hours or aged for more than three weeks. It is recommended that the user perform their own independent testing.
- LIMITATIONS
- This product is for professional use only.
- This product must be stored at temperatures between 60° - 90°F (15° - 30°C).
- Apply EPL™ 1.5 when surface and air temperatures are above 40°F (5°C) and the surface temperature is at least 5°F (3°C) above dew point and rising.
- Liquid temperature in drums during application 70° F (21 °C) – 100°F (38°C).
- Avoid moisture contamination in containers. Containers should not be resealed if contamination is suspected, CO2 created pressure can develop.
- Do not attempt to use contaminated material.
Note: The material supplied is a two component system (Component “A”/Component “B”) which is used to formulate this product. The quality and characteristics of the finished polymer is determined by the mixture and application of the two components.

EPLTM 1.5 is available in SPI standard colors (Neutral, Medium Gray,Black, and Tan).
Note: In continuous full-light exposure, whiteor very light colors will yellow over a period of time. EPLTM 1.5 isavailable in a high-pigment, UV inhibited formulation for stand-alone applications, such as roofs and containment liners. Aliphaticurethane and other suitable topcoats can be used where long-term color stability and increased longevity in full sun exposureare of critical importance.

This product sold in standard 10, 30, 110 gallon drum and 550 gallon tote sets. Available in other container sizes, Nonstandard containers may require a longer lead time.
