SmokeShield® ZB2 is an effective smoke suppressant in halogenated polymers, acting in the condensed phase as a charformer. It also acts as a flame retardant synergist and as a partial antimony oxide replacement in many PVC applications. Typical applications include jacketing and insulation for plenum and riser cables, HVAC insulation, plastisols, calendered sheet, belting, and carpet tiles.
