NINATE® 100L represents a solid calcium dodecylbenzene sulfonate (caddbsa) that adapts for end-use by dissolving it in a chosen solvent or utilizing it in dried form. Free from volatile solvents, glycols, and alcohols, it's suitable for sensitive formulations with active ingredients. The anionic emulsifier and dispersant work in formulations like emulsifiable concentrates (ec), oil dispersions (od), wettable powders (wp), and water dispersible granules (wdg).

Applications

NINATE 100L is solid Calcium Dodecylbenzene Sulfonate that can be tailored for end-use applications by dissolving in a solvent of choice or using in dried form. The product is free from volatile solvents, glycols, and alcohols; making it an excellent choice for sensitive active-ingredient-containing formulations. NINATE 100L is a versatile anionic emulsifier for Emulsifiable Concentrates (EC) and Oil Dispersions (OD); as well as a dispersant in dry formulations such as Wettable Powders (WP) and Water Dispersible Granules (WDG).

  • The international inventories country clearances of NINATE 100L, can be found in Section 15 of the Safety Data Sheet (SDS). It is the responsibility of the formulator to review the chemical control regulations for each country where the end product is intended to be sold or used.
  • NINATE 100L is exempted from the requirement of a tolerance as an inert ingredient under U.S. EPA 40 CFR 180.910 and 180.930. These CFR sections should be consulted for the complete context before any conclusion is made as to the compliant regulated use.

Storage & Handling

Storage & Handling
  • Normal safety precautions (e.g. gloves and safety goggles) should be employed when handling NINATE 100L. Contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin should be avoided. Wash hands thoroughly after handling materials. See the SDS for further information.
  • Bulk Storage Information: It is recommended that NINATE100L be stored in stainless steel and glass fiber-reinforced polyester tanks. Many oven-cured phenolic and epoxy/phenolic linings may also be used. Storage temperatures above 90 °F (32 °C) are desirable to maintain ease of pumping. Temperatures up to 130 °F (54 °C) can be maintained for long periods of time without degradation of the product.
