NINATE® 60L is an anionic surfactant often employed in conjunction with nonionic surfactants to create effective emulsifier systems within pesticide emulsifiable concentrate formulations. These surfactants enhance emulsification and serve as adjuvants. They are suitable for applications involving concentrated emulsions (ew), emulsifiable concentrates (ec), microemulsions (me), oil dispersants (od), oil-in-water emulsions (ew), suspension concentrates (sc), suspoemulsions (se), and tank mix adjuvants.

Packaging & Availability

Packaging Type
Standard Packaging

NINATE 60L is available in drums (450 lb, 205 kg) and in bulk quantities.

Storage & Handling

Storage & Handling

Normal safety precautions (i.e. gloves and safety goggles) should be employed when handling NINATE 60L. Contact with the eyes and prolonged contact with the skin should be avoided. Wash thoroughly after handling materials. Use product in a well-ventilated area away from sparks and open flame.

Bulk Storage Information

Stainless steel and glass fiber-reinforced polyester tanks are recommended. Many oven-cured phenolic and epoxy/phenolic linings may also be used. Elevated storage temperature may be desirable to maintain ease of pumping. Temperatures up to 120°F (49°C) can be maintained for long periods of time without degradation of the product. NINATE 60L which has been stored in drums at temperatures below 25°F (-4°C) may thicken or solidify. It may be fluidized by warming with a drum heater or in a steam room. Drums should be vented during heating to avoid excessive pressure build up. Product temperatures over 130°F (54°C) are not recommended, as excessive solvent loss may occur. The flash point may be exceeded when warming to pump but the temperature should be below the flash point for storage. Keep away from open flames and provide ventilation.
