STEP-FLOW® 26 is a nonionic surfactant that can be used as a dispersant in a wide variety of agricultural applications. Step-flow 26 is a polyalkylene oxide block copolymer. Step-flow 26 provides primary dispersing and wetting properties in pesticide flowable suspensions. This nonionic dispersant increases the fluidity of flowable suspension concentrates. The hydrophilic properties of the surfactant promote the uniform dispersion of the concentrate when diluted in a broad spectrum of waters and fertilizers.

Packaging & Availability

Standard Packaging

STEP-FLOW 26 is available in drums (450 lb, 205 kg) and in bulk quantities.

Storage & Handling

Storage & Handling
  • Normal safety precautions (i.e. gloves and safety goggles) should be employed when handling STEP-FLOW 26. Contact with the eyes and prolonged contact with the skin should be avoided. Wash thoroughly after handling materials.
  • STEP-FLOW 26 which has been stored in drums at temperatures below 90°F (32°C) will solidify. It may be fluidized by warming with a drum heater or in a steam room. Drums should be vented prior to heating to avoid excessive pressure build up.
  • Bulk Storage Information: It is recommended that STEP-FLOW 26 be stored in stainless steel and glass fiberreinforced polyester tanks. Many oven-cured phenolic and epoxy/phenolic linings may also be used. Storage temperatures above 90°F (32°C) are desirable to maintain ease of pumping. Temperatures up to 130°F (54°C) can be maintained for long periods of time without degradation of the product.
