STEPAN® MWA-310 is a phosphate ester and can be used as an emulsifier and extreme pressure agent in synthetic and semi-synthetic metalworking fluids. It can be used as a component of lubricants, gear and chain oils, metalworking fluids, hydraulic fluids, and plasticizers. It is soluble in water and slightly soluble in oil, yielding very low surface tension and cmc values. It can improve corrosion inhibition and also provide protection for aluminum.
