STEPAN® MWA-261 is a nonionic surfactant designed for low-foaming and defoaming applications. It can be used as an emulsifier and lubricant in synthetic and semi-synthetic metalworking fluids and as a component of lubricants, gear and chain oils, metalworking fluids, hydraulic fluids, and plasticizers.

STEPAN® MWA-540 is a glyceryl monooleate that can be used as an emulsifier for metalworking formulations for improved lubrication properties. The film formed by STEPAN® MWA-540 has excellent load-carrying ability, as shown by falex 4-ball and falex pin and vee testing. STEPAN® MWA-570 HS is a diethylene glycol-phthalic anhydride-based modified polyester polyol that exhibits hydrolysis resistance and good thermal stability. It exhibits a good hardness/flexibility balance, clarity, and low color. It is used in metalworking formulations for improved lubrication properties and is a great option as a chlorinated paraffin replacement, either alone or with the addition of phosphate esters. STEPAN® MWA-210 is a nonylphenol ethoxylate that can be used as an emulsifier and coupling agent for metalworking formulations, either alone or in combination with other surfactants. It can be used in straight oils, semi-synthetics, and full synthetic formulations to provide lubricity and film-forming properties. Additionally, it can be used in oil- or solvent-based concrete form release products for low staining and excellent release characteristics.

STEPAN® MWA-501 is a methyl ester that can be used as either a solvent or a cosolvent in metalworking, die casting, and metal forming processes. It provides excellent film-forming properties and lubricity in straight oil, semi-synthetic, and full synthetic metalworking fluids. It is a non-staining product and has shown excellent results in metal-forming fluids as well as metal removal operations.

STEPAN® MWA-450 is a dea amide used as an emulsifier in soluble oils and synthetic and semi-synthetic metalworking fluids. It can be used as a component of lubricants, gear and chain oils, metalworking fluids, hydraulic fluids, and plasticizers. It can also help tighten emulsions, improve rust prevention, and provide lubricity. It should be considered a component for soluble oils where sodium sulfonates are not used.

STEPAN® MWA-110 is a sulfonate that is used in metalworking applications. STEPAN® MWA-110 is used in the emulsification of components in metalworking formulations. It can act as a coupling agent for several components in soluble oils, semi-synthetic fluids, and synthetic fluids.
