Extra Thick Crushed Tomatoes Fine Pulp is typology mostly used by pizza makers. Thanks to its high density, it is easy to spread on the dough without releasing intrusive traces of water. However, it remains a product where the freshness of just picked tomatoes dominate. Everything is enriched with a pinch of salt to give the product a strong and tasty style. Tomato pulp is obtained after blanching, extruding and dripping fresh tomatoes.

Extra Thick Fine Pulp is specifically meant for the most demanding pizza makers. It has a size of 4x4 mm and a unique texture on crushed tomatoes market, that makes it the perfect product for professionals. A tasty sauce, rich and easy to spread on the dough, which does not give up on the freshness that distinguishes the good crushed tomatoes (also called ground tomatoes) of Italian tomato. The jar version is characterized by higher thickness and the presence of a pinch of salt to adjust acidity.

Main Characteristics Of The Product

Product prepared with non-whole tomatoes of any shape, grown in accordance with the Integrated Production Regulations of the EMILIA ROMAGNA Region, without the use of genetically modified seeds, peeled and conditioned with the addition of concentrated tomato juice.

Microbial Stability

Product subjected to evaporation and sterilization at high temperature, able to maintain commercial stability until expiration in unopened packaging stored at room temperature. Stable after incubation at 32 ° C for 14 days, without development of gas or alteration of pH and / or organoleptic characteristics.

Storage Conditions and Shelf Life
  • Room temperature.
  • Once the package has been opened, keep cool, at temperatures no higher than 4 ° C, and consume within 2 or 3 days.
  • Shelf Life is 24 months at the end of the month for the large format, 36 months exact day of production for the medium format in storage conditions.
