Yarma (Ground Pearled Wheat) is a reduced cooking time U.S. grade #1 soft white wheat used in a variety of nutritionally balanced food products. It is manufactured under proprietary technology by mechanically harvesting, triple cleaning, partially debranning, grinding and removing excess flour from the finished product. This product is not parboiled.

    • Foreign Material : Free of all foreign material namely rocks/stones, metals, glass, dirt, soil and signs of insect or rodent infestation.
    • Defects : Less than .05% allowable in finished wheat products containing chaff, stems and discolored kernels (i.e. black tip, extraneous seeds, heat damage, etc.)

    Products are available in 25 pound max capacity bags (16” wide X 30” long = poly) (13” wide X 25” long X 3” high = paper), in 50 pound max capacity bags (20” wide X 32” long = poly) (16” wide X 33” long X 4” high = paper) and in 2000 pound max capacity poly totes (35” wide X 35” long X 55” high). Stacked and shrink wrapped on clean #1 grade pallets with a plastic protective sheet on top and a corrugated slip sheet between the product and the pallet. For added protection a plastic cover bag protects the entire pallet. Finished products are shipped F.O.B. origin Fresno, CA in clean, sealed trucks capable of properly protecting the product.

    Storage Information

    For best keeping conditions, Yarma should be stored under 75°F and a maximum relative humidity of 65%. Product taste and overall quality will be optimum when consumed within Six (6) months from date of manufacture.
