Wallpaper Prep-Coat is an acrylic water-based coating used by virtually every professional wallpaper hanger to prepare and condition the wall prior to hanging wallpaper. It totally eliminates the need to sand glossy surfaces or prime new drywall. Wallpaper Prep-Coat actually forms a Velcro-like surface that ensures proper adhesion, prevents seams from opening and helps eliminate bubbles. Wallpaper Prep-Coat is ideal for both prepasted and unpasted wallpaper. Its water-based low odor formula makes it pleasant to use and easy to clean up with soap and water.

    Directions

    Wallpaper Prep-Coat can be applied onto most surfaces, including new drywall, plaster, paint and existing wallpaper.

    Surface Prepartion: Remove loose paint, rust, plaster, etc. Clean surface with TSP and warm water. Remove existing mildew with household bleach.

    Application: Stir Wallpaper Prep-Coat until consistent throughout can. Do not apply below 10C (50F). Apply Wallpaper Prep-Coat with brush, roller, or spray.

    Dry Time: Allow 2 hours under normal conditions before hanging wallpaper. High humidity or low temperatures may slow drying.

    Coverage: Up to 75m² (800ft²) per 3.78L.

    Clean-up: Clean up with soap and water.
