Product Highlights

Tisester ® PBT is a crystalline, high molecular weight polymer with easy processing characteristics. Because the material crystallizes quickly, mold cycles are short and mold temperatures may be lower for many engineering plastics. Tisester ® PBT has strong dimensional stability and low moisture absorption.

In some areas, Tisester ® PBT can be used in place of other semi-crystalline thermoplastics (such as polypropylene, nylon and polyacetal) due to the need to improve performance.

Tisester ® PBT formulations can also be developed to meet specific market needs.

Tisester ® PBT is a fully recyclable material and can be reused after reprocessing. The user should always check whether the materials obtained by mixing new and processed material are suitable for the specified application and whether their properties meet the requirements.

Tisester ® grades can be dyed from the darkest to the lightest colours, tailored to you.
