Product Highlights

It is an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene with excellent impact resistance, it is less rigid and has higher impact resistance than other lower molecular weight polyethylenes. Therefore it is more appropriate for uses subject to continuous shocks.

Main Characteristics
  • Valid for contact with food.
  • Easy machining and low specific weight.
  • Low coefficient of friction and high resistance to abrasion.
  • Very good wear resistance and high chemical resistance.
  • Very low water absorption
  • Resistant to dilute acids, solvents and cleaning agents
  • UV resistant
  • Good electrical insulation
  • Easily weldable
