ResinGard® Water Softener Salt Pellets can be used in most types of water softeners. Where iron fouling is a problem, use Rust Free® Water Softener Salt Pellets (See Product Data Sheet 4002A). The Rust Free® brand also contains cleansing ingredients in addition to an iron removal agent.

ResinGard® Water Softener Salt Pellets are available in 25 lb (11.3 kg), 40 lb (18.1 kg) and 50 lb (22.6 kg), poly bags and in 20 kg (44.1 lb) and 35 kg (77 lb) net weight bilingual, poly bags.
Storage & Handling
- Storage Information & Shelf Life
To retard caking, ResinGard® Water Softener Salt Pellets should be stored in a dry, covered area at relative humidities below 75%. Cycling salt through the 75% relative humidity zone will rapidly increase the onset of caking.
