Alvinesa markets a wide range of natural products made from grape pomace for use in the food, beverage, nutrition, animal nutrition and wine industry. In our history, we have worked with a wide selection of polyphenols (micronutrients with active antioxidants), polysaccharides, natural tartaric acid, grape seed oil and alcohols.



Alvinesa controls a sustainable, traceable supply chain that has waste prevention techniques. We obtain the highest quality grape pomace without the use of pesticides (or with a low content of them) mainly from the wine region of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. We transform 100% of the raw materials into ingredients suitable for the manufacture of products, a large part of which are consumables, for the global market. In this way, we preserve global supplies for food manufacturing by not destroying or wasting any other food when generating the ingredients. Applying 30 years of technical experience, we manufacture all products to high quality standards in our own low carbon footprint facilities. Instead of using chemical solvents, only water is used for its extraction, thus preserving the natural quality. We generate a large percentage of the energy we need at the same time: 100% steam energy (produced by our own biomass) and 30% electrical energy (using solar energy).

VINESA NATURAL INGREDIENTS Grape Skin Extract - Natural Food Coloring EV2 (liquid) is a natural red pigment obtained from grape skin. For decades, grape skin has been known as a source of natural red pigments. Those natural red pigments are polyphenols and belong to the anthocyanin family. These anthocyanins, also known as grape skin extracts, are labeled E163. Extracted from selected Spanish red grapes, the grape skin extract offers color shades from violet to dark red. This natural ingredient is a perfect alternative to all artificial red and pink colors for the Food and Beverage Industry. Alvinesa Natural Ingredients is one of the major suppliers of natural grape extract, and especially grape skin extract.

VINESA NATURAL INGREDIENTS Oenological tannins - Grape tannins contain tannin of natural origin derived from the different parts of the grape. Alvinesa Natural Ingredients is an expert in natural grape extracts. Oenological tannins grape extracts can be used for different applications in a variety of sectors, such as in the Food, Animal Feed and Nutraceutical. Alvinesa uses 100% physical and water extraction processes and applies them on rigorously selected raw material. Thus, Alvinesa’s grape tannins keep their natural properties and the resultant powder can be perfectly and easily dissolved in wine.

VINESA NATURAL INGREDIENTS Red and white wine concentrate have been developed based on highly-quality selected raw materials by Alvinesa and undergone a unique concentration process. Furthermore, in order to keep the natural flavor of the wine, Alvinesa does not add any type of aromas to its wine concentrates. Thus, we put at your disposal the best wine concentrate kits. Our standard products go from 10° Brix to 55° Brix. This means that 1 liter of wine concentrate is the equivalent to 30 - 40 liters of wine. One of the main trends observed in the food industry, in recent years, is the use of natural ingredients. As a supplier of natural wine and grape ingredients, Alvinesa provides to its customers many opportunities to develop new natural products. The potential of wine and grape extracts as natural flavors in food ingredients, as well as natural food coloring, is limitless. Today, Alvinesa Natural Ingredients provides Natural Color (E163), Natural Tartaric Acid (E334) and Wine Concentrate. Wine concentrate is already largely used in the food industry in Europe, Asia and in the US.

VINESA NATURAL INGREDIENTS Grape Polyphenols are made of polyphenols that are a heterogeneous set of molecules found in various plants and fruits. The grape and its derivatives have a high content of these polyphenolic compounds. Phenolic grape compounds include, among others, phenolic acids and flavonoids (catechins, proanthocyanidins) and stilbenes (resveratrol). The highest concentration of polyphenols is found in the grape seed and in the skin of the grape. Alvinesa produces grape polyphenols of 100% natural origin from selected white and red grapes, with perfect traceability from the vineyard to the final product. Part of the biological activity of polyphenols resides in their ability to be part of the cellular antioxidant system in humans, which makes them perfect natural antioxidants.
