ViskoTeepak offers high-quality Devro edible collagen casings in Germany.

DEVRO

ViskoTeepak offers Fibran non-edible collagen for the U.S. market. Fibran collagen casings are manufactured and refined to retain their time-proven natural properties such as smoke permeability, even drying and meat adhesion. The applied technology provides easy processing, size control and production efficiencies, giving you the best of both worlds in one casing choice.

FIBRAN

Our plastic casing product line is called Nova. It’s extruded from a variety of raw materials thoroughly combined in each layer to provide every single type of Nova casing with its unique properties. Each raw material is melted at an individual extruder to further form a multilayer structure for the required processing performance (mechanical and physical properties). Once formed, it passes through a cooling stage. The cooled casing is then bi-oriented, i.e., in both directions–transverse (TD) and longitudinal, or machine direction (MD)–to align its polymer chains for better properties.

NOVA

The Wienie-Pak casing has the tendency to shrink and tightly wrap the sausage after stuffing, creating a nicely shaped product with excellent shoulder formation and a well-defined shape. It is recommended for processing smaller-diameter skinless sausages including frankfurters, hot-dog sausages, beer sausages, mini salamis and other similar products. With Wienie-Pak, we seek to provide the most efficient cellulose casing on the market.

ViskoTeepak offers the Nippi edible collagen casings in the U.S.A. Nippi combines engineered precision gage and diameter control with high collagen content to produce a superb intrinsic bite, thus bringing unparalleled performance and value to your operation. This creates superior results in fresh, precook and smokehouse processes, along with delighted customers.

NIPPI

Fibrous casings are a cellulose-based casings strengthened with natural long-fiber abaca paper, sometimes called manila hemp fiber, which combines exceptionally high tensile strength with consistent extrusion properties in a form that makes it ideally suited for sausage casings. Due to their strength and dimensional stability, fibrous casings are traditionally considered to be among the most versatile, comprehensive packaging materials.

XL is our fibrous casing technology combined with reliable, lightweight construction. It’s a good alternative when the superior properties of the ST casing aren't needed.

Super Protect is a designed tailor-made solution for high demanding white mold salamis. Its development involved extensive customer feedback and rigorous field testing.

FIBROUS SUPER PROTECT

Nova XT is a stable, stronger oriented plastic casing designed for cylindrical products. It’s ideal for high-expansion products that need to cope with high tension. This casing has a five-layer construction for the desired shelf life and extremely low weight loss during processing and storage. It’s recommended for products that are hanged during processing and require good final-size consistency. The application formulation determines exactly which Nova to use in order to achieve yield and stuff to finished sizing specifications.

NOVA XT

Nova X is a high-performance, multilayer plastic casing designed for all types of cylinder-shaped and molded products. It’s perfect for both manual and automatic production lines. The casing has a five-layer construction for the required shelf life and extremely low weight loss during processing and storage. It’s recommended for hot-stuffed products and cooked products that don’t require smoking or drying.

NOVA X

ST is our standard fibrous casing; our workhorse. It’s available in the world's most comprehensive range of calibers, and, with its multiple features and options, it can be fine-tuned to suit the specific needs of wide-ranging applications. Our standard fibrous casing is often used for products that consumers associate with the reliable quality of established brands.

FIBROUS ST

Printed is a Wienie-Pak cellulose casing tailored with customer-specific single-color printing options. It's a highly productive, easy-to-use casing designed to improve the appeal of the final product.

WIENIE-PAK PRINTED

CRF is the thinnest fibrous casing ever produced with a matte appearance designed to outperform and replace collagen casings by offering the benefits of the fibrous casing, such as strength, caliber consistency and high-speed stuffing performance. It’s also thinner for more meters per strand to allow faster soaking, with greater transparency for better product-structure visibility.

FIBROUS CRF

Nova L is a plastic casing designed for cooked cylinder-shaped products that require packaging with barrier properties but without high shrinkage, as well as for molded D-shaped hams. It’s used to prevent wrinkle formation on the products after processing and cooling.

NOVA L

FLX is the thinnest fibrous casing ever produced with a glossy appearance. It's thinner for more meters per strand to allow faster soaking, with greater transparency for better product-structure visibility. This thin casing creates significant potential for time and cost savings in the production process.

Window is a Wienie-Pak cellulose casing designed for easier color formation control and unpeeled casing detection. With its overall surface pigmented at about 80 percent, it allows to be sure the casing is completely peeled off the sausage in production.
