AIRX 82 brings completely new technology to carpet care and allows you faster, easier methods of cleaning. It has a completely neutral pH yet cleans better than other carpet solutions, and it dries faster and contains Airicide® Odor Counteractant, but its most important benefit is that it leaves no sticky residue to cause resoiling.
AIRX 82 is highly concentrated and economical to use, but its biggest saving is by not resoiling. It postpones or eliminates the cost of future cleanings. Use on carpets of all kinds and used with any method (as a prespray, spotting, extraction, self-contained and truck mount) bonnet cleaning, rotary shampooing, low moisture spray & brush and spot cleaning).

May be used on any carpet or rug not harmed by soap and water (though AIRX 82 is not soap). It may be used with any method and equipment - extraction, pre-spraying, bonnet cleaning, cylindrical brush, even rotary and foamer machines and for spot cleaning. Its encapsulation of soil into crystals, its quick drying and resistance to soiling make possible the new spray & brush, low moisture system described to the right.
- How to Use
Note: Before using, test carpet in an out of way spot for colorfastness. Avoid overwetting.
- Spot Cleaning: Dilute 1 part AIRX 82 with 4 parts water. Apply with clean cloth or sprayer. When rubbing, work from outer edge toward center of spot.
- As a Pre-spray: Dilute approx. 4 oz. AIRX 82 per gal. of water. Spray heavily soiled areas of carpet. Allow carpet to stay damp about 5 minutes. Then proceed as below.
- Low Moisture Brush in: Dilute 1 part AIRX 82 with 6 parts water. Spray manageable area of carpet. Allow to stand a few minutes and brush in with a light machine or hand brush.
- Extraction: Dilute 2 to 3 oz. per gal. water and use according to machine directions.
- Bonnet Cleaning: Dilute approx. 4 oz. per gal. of water. Spray solution over the bonnet and over a manageable area of the carpet. With bonnet under the machine, scrub sprayed carpet. Change or rinse bonnet frequently as it becomes dirty.
- Rotary Shampooing: Dilute approx. 2 oz. per gal. water. Release solution sparingly from machine tank.
- As a Rinse Aid: Sticky residue from previously used cleaners can be removed with solution of 2 oz. per gal. water Used with extraction machine.
