ELASTOSIL® M silicone rubber has been the ideal solution for the production of molds that are highly elastic and have excellent release properties and optimum durability. These invaluable processing properties make ELASTOSIL® M indispensable, to both industrial and artisan mold makers.

ELASTOSIL® M

SILFAR® is the name of WACKER’s range of silicone-based products specifically intended for the pharmaceutical and food industries, as well as for use in fermentation and other biotech processes. SILFAR® products feature outstanding chemical resistance. They are not resorbed in the digestive tract, and are therefore not metabolized. They are colorless and odorless.

WACKER’s CAVAQ10® is a highly bioavailable coenzyme Q10 powder. This fat-soluble, vitamin-like substance is a known antioxidant. Coenzyme Q10 has been associated with improved cardiovascular health and supporting optimum fuctioning of the cardiac muscle. However, many commercial products do not offer adequate bioavailability. WACKER’s cyclodextrin-encapsulated CAVAQ10® powder, by contrast, has an 18-fold higher bioavailability compared to other CoQ10 products.

CAVAMAX® is the trade name for cyclodextrins from WACKER. We are the only company in the world to manufacture all three naturally occurring cyclodextrins – α, β and γ (CAVAMAX® W6, W7 and W8). CAVAMAX® cyclodextrins have unique properties resulting in a wide range of functionalities, such as stabilization, rheology control, masking of bitterness or increasing bioavailability and much more. This paves the way for innovative food, pharma and industrial applications.

BELSIL® is an extensive range of premium-grade silicones intended specifically for personal care applications, and more especially for hair care, skin care, color cosmetics, and deodorants. BELSIL® products are developed and manufactured in the highest quality and with utmost care, ensuring that the formulations are highly efficient and reliable. With BELSIL®, you can tailor your hair-care or skin-care formulations or color cosmetics to obtain end products that are not only competitive but also meet the needs of the market.

CAVACURMIN® is a highly bioavailable curcumin complex that is around 40 times more efficiently absorbed than standard turmeric extract. The complexation with the naturally occurring oligasaccharide gamma-cyclodextrin results in a free-flowing, easily dispersible powder.

SEMICOSIL® 9242 is a pourable, thermally curable, addition-curing one-part silicone rubber that cures to a very soft silicone gel. This product is ready-to-use, requiring no additional mixing. It exhibits thixotropic behavior, meaning it becomes shear-thinning during application. SEMICOSIL® 9242 offers rapid heat curing, allowing for efficient processing. Upon vulcanization, it forms a soft gel. With low levels of volatiles, uncured polymers, and ions, this silicone rubber ensures high purity. Additionally, SEMICOSIL® 9242 has the additional feature of ultraviolet fluorescence.

VINNAPAS® EP 645 is a specially modified vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) copolymer dispersion designed to provide excellent adhesion to a wide range of difficult-to-bond substrates. The dispersion is stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol to ensure good wet tack, fast setting speed, and excellent machinability.

SILPURAN® 6760/50 A/B is a paste-like, easily pigmentable two-component compound with a very short curing time and good mechanical and electrical properties. Vulcanizates are noted for their self-adhesive properties to various substrates combined with a low coefficient of friction. SILPURAN® 6760/50 A/B is designed for medical applications in compliance with the WACKER SILICONES HEALTH CARE POLICY, including implantation for less than 30 days.

ELASTOSIL® RT 745 S" A/B" is a pourable, two-part silicone rubber that can be thermally cured. It is an addition-curing type, making it suitable for various applications. Some notable industries where it finds use are automotive, electronics, and measurement and control. Specifically, it is employed in potting and encapsulation processes, ensuring the protection and stability of sensitive components and systems.

BELSIL® DMC 6031 is a copolymer of polydimethylsiloxane and organic glycol. It acts as a resin plasticizer in hair fixative compositions, reducing brittleness and flaking. In shampoos and shower gels, it stabilizes foam, provides mild conditioning, and promotes clarity. In creams and lotions, it acts as a co-emulsifier, improving emulsification, skin feel, and product stability.

ELASTOSIL® LR 3023/60 A/B is a liquid silicone rubber. It is a paste-like, easily pigmentable, two-component compound with short curing times and excellent coolant resistance. Vulcanizates are opaque with average mechanical properties, and they are noted for ultra-low compression sets after post-curing.

VINNAPAS® EP 6420 is an aqueous dispersion containing a 55% copolymer of vinyl acetate and ethylene. It is produced without the use of plasticizers and is currently being introduced for industrial use. This product provides good adhesion to various plastic surfaces, resulting in permanently flexible adhesive joints.

ELASTOSIL® Color Paste FL Heliogreen RAL 6004 is a ready-to-use masterbatch that contains specific pigments and reactive silicone polymers. It is commonly used for producing ELASTOSIL® liquid silicone rubber. This color paste enables homogeneous covulcanization without significantly affecting the physical properties, such as hardness, and without the risk of migration often seen in systems based on silicone oil.

VINNAPAS® EF 539 is an aqueous dispersion of a vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) copolymer. It was specifically formulated as an environmentally friendly binder for intermediate-grade caulk formulations. The manufacturing process excludes the use of alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEOs), ensuring a reduced environmental impact. No formaldehyde or formaldehyde donors are intentionally added to this product. Furthermore, VINNAPAS® EF 539 has a low glass transition temperature (Tg), which contributes to its desirable performance characteristics.
