Naturalness is the key
The call for naturalness is getting louder with all processed foods. Gum arabic is a natural, GMO-free substance that is grown without fertilizers and pesticides. Food manufacturers today are more and more concerned with aspects such as “green labeling”. With the use of gum arabic you have a clear advantage and can positively influence purchase decisions. Of course, we also deliver certified organic qualities (DE-ÖKO-005).
A brief description of the origin
Gum arabic is the dried resin of the Acacia Senegal tree and related species. These acacias grow in the savannah of the African Sahel zone. The so-called rubber belt spans the whole of Africa. It starts in Senegal and ends in Somalia. Acacia gum is mainly collected during the dry season between November and April. It is a particularly sustainable product, as the trees from which the resin is harvested act as wind protection against the expansion of the Sahara. During the harvest season, gum arabic is a source of income for up to 5 million people in the Sahel. As a result, the trees are preserved by the residents and, as legumes, enrich the barren soils with nitrogen. Our spray-dried powders are produced in Germany according to the highest quality standards.

Our spray-dried grades are free from contamination, have a very low microbiological load due to pasteurization and are characterized by rapid solubility.
They are produced under a strict, certified quality management and HACCP system in order to guarantee the processing industry a safe additive. The analytical quality control is carried out by experienced employees in our own laboratory. Our spray-dried powders meet all legal requirements:
