It is a mixture of inorganic micro and nano-particles with a high surface area coverage. It enables to improve micro scratch resistance preserving gloss and paper flexibility. It is suitable both for application via impregnation bath or through the coater. High solid content, good compatibility with the resin, easy to handle and use.

ALTON AT 837 is a water-based additive free from ethoxylated nonylphenol, waxes and fats and paraffin specially designed for impregnated paper production. Excellent anti-blocking properties at low dosages. Dosing ALTON AT 837 (0,1-0,2 %) with UF resin in the impregnation bath, the UF resin migration to the paper surface is strongly reduced.
