SYNTRAN® PUC 1311

SYNTRAN® PUC 1311 is a cationic, semi-rigid PUD with excellent compatibility with inorganic additives and good adhesion to inorganic substrates and functional plastics such as polycarbonate. It also shows good adhesion to cold-rolled sheet. SYNTRAN® PUC 1311 is a self-emulsifying one-component system that shows no migration phenomena because it contains no surfactants. SYNTRAN® PUC 6225

SYNTRAN® PUC 6225 is a cationic, waterborne, one-component, polyester-like, aliphatic polyurethane dispersion with excellent compatibility and good adhesion to metal and inorganic substrates, pigments and functional plastics such as polycarbonate. It has excellent corrosion resistance on cold-rolled sheet metal. It is a self-emulsifying, one-component system that shows no migration characteristics because it contains no surfactants. It is the hard version of SYNTRAN® PUC 6224 and can be used together with cationic acrylates on steel coil. Formulations based on SYNTRAN® PUC 6225 for various applications are available on request. SYNTRAN® AC 4102 is a water-based, cationic acrylic copolymer solution. SYNTRAN® AC 4102 is recommended for stain-blocking paints and primers. It shows excellent performance in blocking wood and cork extractives, nicotine, graffiti, soot and water stains. SYNTRAN® AC 4102 is also recommended for the formulation of coatings with excellent adhesion properties on critical substrates, such as glass, ceramic tiles, zinc, aged alkyd paints, etc. SYNTRAN® AC 4102 is recommended for interior use. SYNPRINT AC 6111 is a modified water-based acrylic copolymer that combines two different ionic structures in the same interpenetrating polymer network (IPN). This technology allows the formulator to take advantage of a cationic acrylic without the traditional compatibility issues as it can be formulated like a conventional anionic water-based acrylate. This unusual combination provides excellent adhesion to a wide range of difficult substrates. SYNPRINT AC 6111 forms tough flexible films with excellent dry wrinkle behavior.

SYNTRAN® is a modified-acrylic copolymer with improved flexibility, which is very suitable as a polymer for leather applications and glove coatings. Formulations based on SYNTRAN® for various applications are available upon request.

SYNPRINT

SYNPRINT is based on our proprietary self-crosslinking technology. This technology combines two different crosslinking mechanisms on the same polymer backbone, substantially increasing the chemical resistance, water resistance and adhesion to multiple substrates. This technology was designed for the self- crosslinking mechanism to fully cure at room temperature while maintaining long-term shelf stability.
