SYNTRAN® PUC 3225 is a cationic, aqueous, one-component, aliphatic polyether-type polyurethane dispersion. It shows excellent corrosion resistance on cold-rolled sheet and good compatibility with additives. It is a self-emulsifying dispersion that is easily processed into a film at relatively low temperatures. It can be used together with cationic acrylic on steel strip. SYNTRAN® PUC 1311 is a cationic, semi-rigid PUD with excellent compatibility with inorganic additives and good adhesion to inorganic substrates and functional plastics such as polycarbonate. It also shows good adhesion to cold-rolled sheet. SYNTRAN® PUC 1311 is a self-emulsifying one-component system that shows no migration phenomena because it contains no surfactants. SYNPRINT AC 9113 is based on self-crosslinking technology substantially increasing the chemical resistance as well as adhesion. This technology was designed for the self-crosslinking mechanism to fully cure at room temperature while maintaining long-term shelf stability. SYNPRINT AC 9113 provides excellent adhesion to multiple substrates including films and foils and is an excellent let down binder for water-based printing inks. It has a very low particle size with good penetration into porous substrates like paper and board. SYNPRINT AC 1107 is a styrene-modified acrylic copolymer emulsion for high-gloss aqueous varnishes as well as flexographic and gravure inks. Formulations containing SYNPRINT AC 1107 can be adapted to the requirements of a variety of different applications. SYNPRINT AC 5121 is an acrylic polymer based on multiphase technology. This is a proprietary process that combines two different types of polymers in the same polymer network. It allows a balanced combination of the different polymer properties and an overall improvement of the physical properties of both polymers. SYNTRAN AC 6130 is a modified water-based acrylic copolymer that combines two different ionic structures in the same interpenetrating polymer network (IPN). This technology allows the formulator to take advantage of a cationic acrylic without the traditional compatibility issues as it can be formulated like a conventional anionic water-based acrylate. This unusual combination provides excellent adhesion to a wide range of difficult substrates. This technology was designed to improve wetting and incorporation of pigments or additives into water-based inks, pigment concentrates and coatings. Depending on the application and the objective, SYNTRAN® DR 7055 is typically used in concentrations between 10% and 30%. SYNTRAN® AC 4006 is a water-based, cationic acrylic copolymer solution. SYNTRAN® AC 4006 is recommended for stain-blocking paints and primers. It shows excellent performance in blocking wood and cork extractives, nicotine, graffiti, soot and water stains. SYNTRAN® AC 4006 is also recommended for the formulation of coatings with excellent adhesion properties on critical substrates, such as glass, ceramic tiles, zinc, aged alkyd paints, etc. SYNTRAN® AC 4006 is recommended for interior use. The product is also very suitable for use in metal passivation with good adhesion and good compatibility with cationic PUDs and some metal salts or other low-PH ingredients. It is the harder version of SYNTRAN® AC 4005. Used as a grinding resin in pigment dispersions, it improves color development of organic pigments and carbon black. Depending on the application and the objective, SYNTRAN® DR 7011 is typically used in concentrations between 10% and 30%. SYNPRINT AC 2910 is an inherently matte acrylic polymer. This technology produces a film with low gloss without additional use of waxes or powders and brings flexibility and excellent stability while providing excellent adhesion to various substrate types. It is recommended to be fortified with another resin such as SYNPRINT AC 5151 or similar to improve the overall film properties. SYNTRAN® AC 1106 is an ethylene acrylate dispersion. It can be applied on galvanized steel and on non- galvanized steel, nickel, aluminum and non-ferrous metals. On metal surfaces, it forms an anti-corrosion film with good adhesion, which improves the appearance of the sealed products. SYNTRAN® WA 1005 is a multi-purpose synthetic wax emulsion. It is an ethylene copolymer emulsion of a hard and high melting polyethylene wax specifically designed for use in surface coating applications of different kinds.
