BIOTRAN SMART WAX is a water-based film former that draws on a patented process that combines wax and acrylate in a single polymer network. This polymer provides wear resistance to make-up formulations and allows to achieve both rub-off resistance and transfer resistance in the final pigmented formulations. BIOTRAN SMART WAX is a naturally derived film-former and has a natural origin content of 87% according to ISO 16128 (including water). Depending on the application and the objective, BIOTRAN SMART WAX can be used in a formulation at a level of 5 to 60 percent.
