MULSIFAN CB is an oil/water emulsifier for the formulation of creams and lotions. They can easily be produced with simple stirring facilities when using MULSIFAN CB. Emulsion quality
can be improved by means of homogenizers. The application quantity between 3 and 6 %, referred to the emulsion. Consistency can be adjusted by the addition of e.g. fatty alcohols.
MULSIFAN CB is especially suitable for the formulation of low-percentage preparations (12 to 15 % solids).

Under heating MULSIFAN CB can be homogeneously mixed with paraffin, vaseline, beeswax, woolfat, castor oil, olive oil, fatty alcohols, octadecyl alcohol, stearic acid,oleic acid.
- Preparation of the Emulsion
Component A (mixture of oil/emulsifier) and component B (mixture of aqueous components) are separately heated to approx. 60 to 70 °C and stirred to homogeneity. Then stir component B slowly into component A, cool down to approx. 35 °C, and add perfume.
